A really funny movie
I would say that this movie is like a cross between Kung Fu Hustle and American Pie. The humor was sometimes sophomoric, but it was also sometimes insightful and it was always creative. The singing and dancing is simply a part of the story, and is never amiss. Totally worth my time and attention, many laugh-out-loud moments. A surprising film.
A curiously poignant sex comedy
I've never liked movies such as American Pie and When Harry Met Sally. I find them stupid and boring. I don't consider movies like A Tale of Legendary Libido to be in the same category. Describing this film as a "raunchy comedy" is technically correct, but its approach to the theme is not what the summary or the cover art lead you to expect.
Its tone is closer to that of a folk tale, with the comedic sex elements, exaggeration, and pee jokes (in the same vein as Mel Brooks movies). It is also like a folk tale in that there is a serious, even dramatic story hiding at the core that has unexpectedly poignant moments with genuine emotion. It swings back and forth between sex comedy and mythic narrative, quite successfully in most cases. It also may contain the most bizarre (yet appropriate) use of 'Pomp and Circumstance' I've ever seen in a comedy film.

Better than I expected
I added this to my queue because it looked silly and my experience with Korean cinema so far has been surprisingly entertaining. This movie had cheesy moments to be sure, but a lot of great (if raunchy) humor. It handles it all with a light hand, and what do you know - the women are the horndogs in this movie, nice turn around from the typical fare portraying men as the only ones with a sex drive.
